You don’t have to buy anything from us. If you already own a terminal, tell us the make and model. Whether it can be used with our platform depends on the model, its configuration and how it was provisioned, so we review it before saying yes or no.
If you’d rather use no terminal at all, browser-based tools may fit: a virtual terminal you open on a phone, tablet or computer, or a payment link the customer opens on their own device. We confirm what applies to you in your review.
Need a different device?
These three cover most counters, but they aren’t the whole catalogue. Tell us what your setup needs — a specific model, a particular connection type, or something that has to match the POS you already run — and we’ll tell you what we can source and what it costs, once we have checked it.
Device prices are one-time — you own the hardware outright, with no lease.
Will Puna Pay work with your setup?
It depends on what you use today. Here is how we describe each case. Tell us your POS or software in the rate review and we will say plainly which one applies.
- Confirmed integration
- Bittsi PIMS, our veterinary practice software, is a confirmed integration with Puna Pay. This is the only third-party software we name as integrated.
- Standalone terminal
- A card terminal that works on its own, next to whatever POS or software you already use. You key or enter the amount on the terminal; it is not linked to your software.
- Browser-based tools
- Virtual terminal and payment links you open in a web browser. They do not require your POS or software to connect to us.
- Setup requiring review
- Anything else — a specific POS, an e-commerce platform, existing hardware you want to keep. Whether it works depends on the model, configuration and provisioning, so we review it before saying yes or no.

Can I use a terminal I already own?
Possibly. It depends on the make and model, how it is configured and how it was provisioned. Tell us what you have and we will review it before saying yes or no.
Do I need a terminal at all?
Not necessarily. Browser-based tools such as a virtual terminal or payment links can work on a phone, tablet or computer you already have. Whether they suit your business depends on how you take payments.
Will the terminal connect to my POS or software?
Only Bittsi PIMS is a confirmed integration. For anything else, a standalone terminal works next to your software, and a deeper connection depends on your setup and needs review.
Are the prices a lease or a one-time purchase?
One-time purchase. You own the hardware outright and no lease is required. Final equipment pricing is confirmed in your written comparison.
